OLD WEB 4 NEW TIMES is an experiment in branding misuse and accessibility. old websites (like geocities, for example) allowed for users to express themselves through the look of the page itself, but at the cost of accessibility—the limited capabilities of the old internet led to pages that were rough around the edges and sometimes even illegible. i wanted to visualize what the internet (specifically, social media) would look like today without the “rules” of modern web design. this work was shown in ligature 31.
